The WorldBeat Center is a non-profit, multi-cultural arts organization dedicated to promoting, presenting and preserving the African Diaspora and Indigenous cultures of the world through music, art, dance, education, sustainability and technology. The center was in dire need of facility repairs and decided on an art and music event with a silent auction and local sponsorship. Makeda 'Dread' Cheatom is the executive director and founder of the WorldBeat Cultural Center and founder of her own radio show, Reggae Makossa. Leveraging the San Diego skyline and the color palette from the Jamaican flag, I created the event flyer which was distributed throughout the county and proved to be instrumental in promoting the silent auction.
